Lakewood, Ohio
Lewis Drive
Named for a member of the Nicholson family; the book notes disagreement over whether it is Lewis, James Nicholson's son, or E. Louis, brother of Grace and Clarence.
The elder Lewis owned about 100 acres near Robinwood from Detroit north to the Lake, with greenhouses and a large nursery. The younger Louis helped his father and brother allot the original James Nicholson property, cutting streets and giving Lakewood its first paved sidewalks. The book says it is uncertain whether the name honors Lewis Nicholson or E. Louis Nicholson.
